Reo Grippa

Accurate Block Wall Reinforcing

Block walls are designed with vertical reinforcing placed in a specific location to provide wall strength. Typically vertical reo is placed in the centre of the block or with 60mm cover to the block edge. If reinforcing is not placed in the specific location in the block the wall strength will be reduced and failure can occur.

The Reo Grippa is a bar chair for block wall reinforcing bars. It’s a secure method of holding vertical reinforcing in blocks with the correct cover during concrete pouring.

  • The Reo Grippa ensures that vertical bar placement complies with the masonry code tolerance of ±6mm location accuracy.
    • Horizontal reo is also clipped on to the Reo Grippa so no wire tying is required.
    • Easy to use clip-on system for reo that fits tightly in the block cavity that provides 60mm cover to reo both side of the block and central reo placement for 12mm and 16mm bars.
    • NZ designed and manufactured.

SECURE YOUR BLOCK FOOTING BARS

The Reo Grippa extension is fixed to the standard Reo Grippa block bracket. This makes it easy to clip the vertical footing reo onto the bracket and screw the extension part to the top of the boxing.

  • Provides an easy way to get the correct cover for the vertical reo in the footing.
  • Secure fixing of the footing reo while the footing concrete is poured.
  • Fits D12 and D16 vertical reo bars.
  • Footing can be used for 140, 190 and 240 block footings.
